Reproductive Psychiatrist
Reproductive Psychiatry is a specialty that helps women deal with psychiatric conditions that develop in relation to specific points in their reproductive life cycle, such as their menstrual cycle, pregnancy, postpartum, and perimenopause. Women with these neurobiological conditions are often under-diagnosed and under-treated.
Dr. Lusskin is one of the pioneers in this field in the United States and is an internationally-recognized expert in perinatal psychopharmacology. She is also a 3rd generation physician whose father, grandfather, and grandmother were doctors. Following in their footsteps, she is dedicated to the care of her patients and to training clinicians around the world.
Dr. Lusskin is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai which she first joined in 2007. She is an Attending in Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She maintains a private practice in New York City. Dr. Lusskin is licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Florida (telemedicine only). She sees patients in person in New York City or via telemedicine.

A Visit with Dr. Lusskin
Dr. Lusskin sees patients in New York (in person and telemedicine), New Jersey (telemedicine), and Florida (telemedicine) for comprehensive consultations and for ongoing treatment including medication management and psychotherapy. She makes every effort to learn about your unique experiences and medical problems.
During the initial appointment she will meet with you alone and, when appropriate, with you and your partner and/or concerned family members. She will address all questions with care and compassion. Dr. Lusskin wants to make sure that you feel you have been heard and understood. She welcomes feedback so that all of your concerns may be addressed.
The frequency of follow up visits will depend on your unique situation.
